If the wait for the iPhone 3GS is in its final phase, the much-anticipated BlackBerry Storm2 smartphone with the BlackBerry OS 5 is already here. The second generation of RIM’s innovative touchscreen smartphone significantly improves the BlackBerry touch-screen platform with enhanced technology and new features. The new SurePress technology provides the user with a tactile feedback when the touchscreen is pressed. The phone also features a 3.25” high resolution screen, 3.2 MP camera, 256 MB of Flash memory and everything else we have come to expect from a BlackBerry.
The BlackBerry Storm2 will be available in India for Rs 31,990.
iPhone 3GS in town
The wait is finally over. Bharti Airtel and Apple have reached an agreement to bring iPhone 3GS to India from March 26. iPhone3GS is arguably the fastest, and most powerful iPhone yet and features video recording, voice control, up to 32 GB of storage, and more. iPhone 3GS will be available from Rs 35,500 for the 16GB model and Rs 41,500 for the 32GB model. Customers will enjoy 500 MB of free data every month for a year from the date of their iPhone 3GS activation. Hope Indian customers get to use the phone on 3G, at least in a few months from now.
